BREAKING: Peter Obi attacked in Edo

There are reports of attack on former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi in Edo State. Obi was visiting the state to attend an ADC event as well as pay homage to former governor of the Edo State, Mr. John Oyegun, an ADC chieftain as part of his consultations towards 2027.

According to accounts, Obi was shot at by hoodlums who ran after him, smashing the window of the vehicle he was traveling in.  An eyewitness told The Daily Monitor reporter that, “At an ADC event today, hoodlums invaded the venue and began shooting. They specifically chased the vehicle carrying Mr. Peter Obi to Chief John Oyegun’s house and continued their attack. The situation remains chaotic, and those nearby are trying to ascertain whether Mr. Obi was wounded or not”.
