De Best Choice Academy School, (Focus), Rainbow Estate Itele Road Ota, Ogun State has shown the way on how to perfectly celebrate a cultural day.
The school known for its flamboyance and dexterity in setting the pace of good things in Ogun State was as usual in its best element recently.
The school’s cultural day celebration which was held at the school primary section on Thursday 26th of February, 2026 and was a cynosure of cultures as five tribes namely: Edo, Idoma, Calabar, Yoruba and Gbagyi, were highlighted.
The peak of the pack is Gbagyi tribe. A tribe that was dislodged from Abuja in 1976 by General Muritala Mohammed.
The performance by each of the tribe was wholesome as the parents and guardians were treated to theatrics displayed by the pupils and teachers.
In his closing speech, the school’s proprietress, Sekinat Owolabi stated that the school has cravings to advance on its previous best.
“Our school is known for a standard, we don’t lower our standard to accommodate mediocrity.
“You can see the performance of the invited troupes. We are taking the cultural festival to another level by God’s grace. Our school is a pacesetter when it comes to education not only here in Ota, but in Ogun State as a whole.”
