Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has finally apologised to colleague Mercy Johnson, for openly declaring that Mercy Johnson is a witch. Angela made the apologise few hours after she was released on bail by an Abuja Magistrate court, following the case of cyber bullying brought against her by actress Mercy Johnson Okojie.
Okorie was released from the custody of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command following her recent re-arrest over an alleged debt.
In a video she uploaded on her instagram handle, the actress appreciated those that showed concerned over her predicament while also admitting that she was misled by gossip from people which made her declare Mercy a witch.
Her words: “I want to appreciate everyone for their concerns during my period of incarceration. I don’t know what I have done for you people to show me this kind of love. I am not a perfect being. This video is for Mercy Johnson and her kids.
“When you are getting older, a lot of things will be leaving you. When we were growing in the industry, some people will come and tell me that Mercy said, or tell Mercy that Angela said, and this has caused issues, quarrel and chaos between us”.
Angela said she is no longer interested in listening to side talks except something that will bring money for her. Adding that she will prefer to make peace because whatever happens between her and Mercy will affect their children in the future.
“At this age, I don’t think this is what I want. What I want now is money and business. If you have business call me, I am no more listening to those cheap gossips
I want to apologise to you Mercy. If it has to do with the word I have written anytime your name pops up on social media, forgive me.
“You are not a witch, you are not what people are calling you. This is just to say that I am sorry. We don’t know where our kids will meet tomorrow, they might be best of friends in the future because these kids are traveling far and wide”, she said.
