Ondo monarch’s killers were speaking Hausa, says wife

The wife of late Oba Kehinde Falodun, the Alagamu of Agamu community in Akure North who was killed on Wednesday by yet to be identified assailants has confirmed that her husband’s killers were speaking Hausa language and came through the Itaogbolu axis into Agamo community.

The Daily Monitor notes that over 10 gunmen had hacked Oba Kehinde Falodun, the Alagamọ of Agamọ community in Akure North local government area of Ondo State, to death.

A family source told newsmen that the bandits came to the late monarch’s palace in the evening with a plan to kidnap him but the attempted abduction was repelled by him.

The gunmen shot the monarch several times before using another weapon to hit him on the head, which led to his death.

The Police Command in Ondo State has confirmed the murder of the traditional ruler.
