Muhammad Ayinla Omolaja (MAO), the presidential aspirant of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) looking towards the forthcoming January 2027 Presidential election , was born into the Obe royal family of Mallam & Mrs. Fasasi Ayinde Omolaja-Obe of Emado Quarters, Ayetoro in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria, on February 10, 1960.
Prof. Muhammad Omolaja attended Yaba College of Technology between 1985 and 1987 inclusive for a National Diploma Program in Statistics
He attended Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye, from 1987 to 1991 for Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Business Administration and graduated with Second Class Honors (Upper Division) and from 1996 to 1998 for Master of Public Administration (MPA) programme and graduated with 4.33 out of 5.00 GPA scale as the Best Graduating Student of MPA of the year.
He is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Administrator, Computer and Information Specialist and Corporate Strategic Manager by inclination
Prof. Muhammad Ayinla Omolaja is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Administration (Nigeria), Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), Institute of Industrial Management (Nigeria), National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, Nigerian Computer Society (formerly Computer Association of Nigeria), Institute of Management Consultants (Nigeria), Chartered Institute of Marketing (London) and International Sociological Association (Madrid, Spain).
Prof. Muhammad Omolaja is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Costs and Executive Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (Nigeria), Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management (Ghana), Chartered Institute of Warehousing and Material Management (Nigeria), Chartered Institute of Project Management, Institute of Corporate Affairs Management, and Academy of Corporate Management and Strategic Planning. MAO is also a Chartered Project Management Professional, and Doctoral Fellow of the Institute of Professional Financial Managers, UK; and he is a Member of the World Council and African Council of the Institute.
He was also the Deputy Vice Chancellor at Littoral University, Porto-Novo, Republic of Benin. Prof. Omolaja was a lecturer at Ogun State Polytechnic (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic), Abeokuta, from 1992 to 1995 and Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), Ago-Iwoye, from 1995 to 2007. He is also the Founder, President and Chairman of the Governing Council of the British American University, Florida, USA.
Serving his role as the University President, he has contributed as an active motivator to the entire faculty members and general staff of the British American University family in USA, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Nigeria, Armenia, Malawi, Uganda, Liberia and many other countries.
Prof. (Dr.) Muhammad Omolaja is the President of the International Council of Chartered Professors (ICCP).
Prof. Muhammad Omolaja is the National Chairman of the National Liberation Patriots (NLP) – a political support group now under the Action Democratic Party (ADP) – which has membership in all the 36 States of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory. He is also the President of Omolaja Solidarity Forum (OSF), and President of Coalition for Sustenance of Democracy (CSD); these are other prominent national political Support Groups under the Action Democratic Party (ADP).
MAO has aspired for Senate under the ANPP, contested for Senate under the DPA and aspired for Federal House of Representatives under the PDP two times. Prof. Muhammad Omolaja also aspired for Governorship under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) during the 2019 general election in Ogun State, and he aspired for Presidency during the 2023 general election under the platform of the great Party – Action Democratic Party (ADP)!
Apart from being a Royal Prince from the Obe Royal family of Emado Quarters, Ayetoro, Yewa North in Ogun State of Nigeria, Prof. Muhammad Omolaja has also received the Chieftaincy Title of Ikemba 1 of Africa (The Strength of the People in Africa) from His Royal Highness Eze (Prof.) Ochendo Ogidi-Igbo, Ezendigbo of Ado Kingdom, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. Again, he received local and international awards including, but not limited, to the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Forum for Interdisciplinary Research, India, Certificate of Recognition from National Human Rights and Humanitarian Federation, India and Academic Excellence Award from the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Universita’ Internazionale Popolare e Della Terza Eta – U.P.T.E.A.G., Italy, Europe. Recently, Prof. Muhammad Omolaja was conferred with the Award of Excellence in National Development by the Institute of Interfaith and Criminology Administration (IICA), Nigeria, together with the Fellowship of the Institute.
Prof. Omolaja’s main message to the good people of Nigeria is that the job of recovering, restoring and developing the much-cherished damaged country, Nigeria, is a task for all individually and collectively irrespective of tribes or ethnicity, religions, places of birth or even political Parties affiliation. Nigerians should forget about their differences in diversity and team up as one indivisible Nigerian family to recall the country back to life through the power of ballot during the forthcoming 2027 general election.
