Woman arrested over murder of daughter’s boyfriend in Ondo

A mother, Mrs. Adegegan and her daughter, Ikeoluwa Adenegan, have been arrested over the murder of the boyfriend of Ikeoluwa in Ondo City in Ondo State.
The Public Relations Officer of the Ondo State Police Command, Mr Jimoh Abayomi, confirmed the story.
He said investigations have commenced into the killing of Tope Gbadehan, the 33-year-old bricklayer boyfriend of Ikeoluwa.
One Sunday popularly known as Biggie was also arrested in connection with the alleged murder.
Daily Monitor learned that Ikeoluwa allegedly led a group of people to Gbadehan’s residence at Akinjese Street, Ondo, in Ondo East Local Government area of the state around 1.30 a.m. last Tuesday.
This followed a dispute over Ikeoluwa and Tope’s relationship.
Speaking on the incident, Abayomi said: “Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the case, and investigations have commenced in earnest.”
