HoR: Fidelis Duker unveils plans to constituents in Akpabuyo/Bakassi/Calabar South

Fidelis Duker is the candidate for the House of Representatives. He is running in the 2027 election for the Akpabuyo, Bakassi, and Calabar South Federal Constituency under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

His campaign is built on a “listening-driven representation” agenda with three core pillars: Listening Deeply; Representing Fairly; Delivering Boldly.

Key commitments include: Passing the Bakassi Resettlement Bill: Will champion the “Bakassi Resettlement, Integration and Development Commission Bill” to address the impact of the 2006 Green Tree Accord; Coastal Urban Renewal: Will push the “Coastal Urban Renewal and Waterfront Communities Bill” to attract funding and protect coastlines; Youth Empowerment: Will deploy his private sector experience (founder of FAD Media and major youth employer) to drive tech-driven youth development programs; Economic Development: Will attract foreign investment to the constituency’s coastal assets and unlock its maritime and tourism potential; Improved Healthcare: Will sponsor policies to improve healthcare access for constituents; Accountability and Transparency: Will ensure transparency in constituency projects and mandate that representation is measured by visible impact, not promises.

Inclusive Leadership: Will ensure every community is heard and respected through regular consultations.
