Taraba 2027: Vote for Prof. Nyame -Accord Party, Bashir appeal

A chieftain of the Taraba State chapter of the Accord Party (AP), Bakari Bashir Jatau, has made a passionate appeal on the people of the State to vote massively for Professor Jerome Nyame during the 2027 governorship election in the State.
Hon. Bashir who is also a House of Assembly Aspirant for Nguroje State constituency of Sardauna local government area of Taraba State, made the appeal weekend while interacting with Journalists in Jalingo the State capital.
According to him, the incumbent Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas has done his best, stressing that nothing more is expected from him.
While calling on the people of the State to get their PVCs for readiness to vote for Prof. Nyame, Hon Bashir who is also the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fast Track Hotel, Jalingo added that Nyame is coming with full force to take the leadership of the State as Governor.
“He’s going to reform Taraba State, you people are going to see developmental projects, capital intensive projects. He’s going to reform Taraba State, in the next four years, Taraba will turn to Dubai not even Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)”, he said.
On his part, Hon. Bakari Bashir Jatau used the medium to declare his intentions to contest for the seat of State House of Assembly, representing Nguroje State constituency.
Hon. Bashir further disclosed that it was not his wish to run for such position but the people of Nguroje constituency called him saying, they need a capable hand who will give them a better, quality representation and practical development.
Why contesting under the platform of AP, he noted, “Politics is not about the party, politics is all about the people”,
“This call is a clarion call from the good people of Nguroje constituency, so I answered the call. I am going to the State House of Assembly in Jalingo to represent my people because I have them at heart”,
“I have done so many things for my people and I believe that if I get there at the state Assembly, their voices will be very loud and they will have a very good representation”,
“What really inspired me the most is that I have the youths at heart and I will empower them through skills acquisition to make them self reliant. I will engage the youths with meaningful ventures that will make them forget every activities of criminality in Nguroje land.
“As I am talking to you now, I have empowered over 300 young men in different ventures and I have about 150 people in my business places working under me. If given the mandate, I will reduce the rate of unemployment to the barest minimum in Nguroje constituency”, he added.
