Former Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the late ex-Governor Lamidi Adesina of Oyo State, Alhaji Kehinde Isiaka Olaosebikan, has disclosed that he has laid the foundation for a landmark secretariat for the political future of Oluyole Federal Constituency.

The secretariat, launched last Monday, is situated in Olomi, at the Community Primary School.

As leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the constituency put it, “What began as the weekly gathering of the meeting of the APC members quickly transformed into something far more significant—a declaration, not just of ambition, but of purpose and capacity.

“It was during this very meeting that Kehinde Isiaka Olaosebikan formally declared his ambition to represent Oluyole Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.”

Olaosebikan presented the party secretariat to the APC in Oluyole on the day, an offering that was described as unprecedented in the political history of Oyo State.

He handed over the keys to the facility to the party chairman, Prince Dotun Oladipo.

“The secretariat itself stands as a bold testament to vision and commitment. With a seating capacity of over 300, dedicated offices for all party executives, with recreational facilities. It represents a new era of political organization and engagement.

“It is, undeniably, the first of its kind in Oyo State—especially when contrasted with the party’s previous Secretariat, a structure inherited in 1998 at the advent of the Fourth Republic, which has remained unchanged for decades.

“As the evening breeze carried chants of solidarity, the presence of party leaders added depth and credibility to the occasion.

“Esteemed figures such as Alhaji Rasak Akilapa, Prince Adeyemo, Alhaji Mauruf Lamolo, Hon. Ibrahim Olaifa, Alhaji Waheed Olawale, Pastor Alamu, and Alhaji Waheed Akinleye—the immediate past party chairman—stood as witnesses to what many believe is the beginning of a political renaissance in Oluyole,” said a party leader.
