Beautiful Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has opened up about her 30-year-old marriage to Captain Mathew Ekehinde. She also talked about what has kept the marriage going, all these years.
Omotola made this revelation while talking on Broadway TV. The mother of four, praised her husband for sustaining the marriage through his maturity.
According to the screen diva, known more as Omosexy, her husband, Captain Ekehinde, a trained pilot, was the one under pressure most of the time in the marriage because of her celebrity status. He was always at the receiving end of the stick.
Her words: “I think he should be given more credits for keeping this marriage together than me, that is the truth.
“As a man, he has more pressure than me, and as the famous one, he was the one at the receiving end. Everything falls back on him.
“He has managed himself and me very well, and he is a very mature person. There are a lot of things he does that many men do not do.”
The veteran actress further revealed that she has told her husband that he should start a boot camp, maybe after his retirement, to enlighten and share their marital experience with the people.
The actress disclosed that, a lot of people have been asking questions online, how they have managed to sustain the marriage for this long. For her, every marriage DNA is different, but couples can learn to manage their different peculiarities.
The movie producer admitted that she is a very difficult person to handle, as no other man would have been able to handle her if she were not married to Captain Ekeinde
“If I was not married to my husband, no man would have been able to handle me. I know myself. He is a very mature and confident person”, she admitted.
