Regina Daniels
Actress and the ex-wife of Senator Ned Nwoko – Regina Daniel, has opened up about her personal life and ambition as a woman, since her failed marriage to the lawmaker. The mother of two said; she has changed her mind about getting married.
The beautiful actress disclosed this in a live stream interview with tiktoker and influencer- Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis .
The actress spoke shortly after she attended a children’s day event in Asaba Delta state. Speaking on her crashed marriage, her life and children, Daniels disclosed that she had a dream of having six children, but circumstances has made her change her mind though she still believes in love
Her words: “I still believe in love. I said; I want to have six children, but for some reasons, I’ve changed my mind about getting married. I’m yet to have a girl. And I must have a girl. I feel like motherhood starts better. Like you would understand motherhood when you have a girl child. So, having boys is easy because at least, you can groom them to have a role model in a father figure.
“But for your girl child, you have to be that role model for them to emulate. Before I had my first son. I said, no, never. I will never have a girl child. Never, ever. But after my first, after my second. I remember, for some reason. You know, it’s female kids that remember, so.”
The actress said, she has missed her kids Munir and Khalifa, whom she saw last in 2025. Daniels explained that while she wants to have a girl is because she wants someone she can be a role model to. Noting that when men grow up, they focus more on building their immediate families, but the girls always remember their parents even when they get married.
Regina Daniels explains more: “I have missed my children, but I know I’ll see them soon. By God’s grace, Inshallah. I saw them last year.
“They’re so good. My first son will be six this year. My second will be four. And now my boy”,
On her journey in the entertainment industry, the actress said, she started in the industry from a young age with the strong backing and guidance of her mother. She also advised young and upcoming actors not to be desperate about fame in the industry.
“For a young girl coming to the industry, just don’t be too desperate. Like, go with God’s pace in your life. Desperation can lead to so many things, and the industry, oh my God, it’s not a good place for desperate minds.
“I wasn’t desperate. I didn’t even have the time to be, luckily, so. I started as a child, and my mum just had a very solid foundation for me, so there was no time to be desperate at all.”
25-year-old Regina Daniels marriage with her 65-year-old ex – husband Senator Ned Nwoko, hit the rock last year with allegations of domestic violence against the lawmaker, while Regina was accused of being a drug addict. Their marriage crises made months long headlines last year.
