Why I stayed off school romance -Ayra Starr

Nigerian singer and hit maker -Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, professionally known as Ayra Starr, has talked about her relationship while in high school. The Marvin Records signee said, while in high school; she never dated anybody because she didn’t want to be tagged someone’s ex-girlfriend later in life.

The Grammy nominated singer disclosed this in an interview with Quenlin Blackwell. Speaking further, she revealed that she saw most of her admirers as having ulterior motives for wanting to date her.

“I didn’t date in high school because I didn’t want to be anybody’s ex. I’m such a baddie, like I knew, like a lot of guys were trying, and I was hmm, why are you trying? That means you must have an ulterior motive,” she said.
